Hotcakes rosas de betabel

Desayuno perfecto para niños: estos hotcakes son ¡hermosos y llenos de nutrientes!

 

Los desayunos son todo un tema en la cocina vegana, sobre todo en la infantil.  Tu puedes prepararte un sustancioso smoothie y ¡Listo! pero con los pequeños es otra historia, a la hora de comer son exigentes y selectivos .

Algunas veces, asumimos que a los pequeños no les gusta desayunar, pero realmente puede estar pasando que quizá no estamos variando bien el menú o que continuamos presentando el plato de la misma forma siempre.

 

¿Ya sabes cómo preparar el desayuno perfecto? Con esta receta de hotcakes rosas tus niños estarán llenos de energía toda la mañana y sobre todo, bien alimentados…

 

Si bien, en las mañana todos tenemos sueño y parece que no dará tiempo llegar a los sitios de destino, te recomiendo que te tomes el tiempo para  preparar el desayuno y asegurarte de que los niños tengan una mañana activa y saludable.

Hoy quiero compartir mi receta de hotcakes de betabel  -que considero el desayuno ideal al ser práctico, delicioso y nutritivo. Las hotcakes son grandiosos al permitir  introducir alimentos de gran valor alimenticio (que quizás no gozan de mucha aceptación en el paladar infantil) en la mezcla, luego  su sabor se verá atenuado por sirope o por el resto de ingredientes.

Receta de hotcakes rosas de betabel ¡un hit! 

Ingredientes:

 

  • 1 ½ tza. de harina integral.
  • 2 cdta. de polvo para hornear.
  • 2 cda. de linaza.
  • 1/3 tza. de leche de almendras.
  • ½  betabel rostizado y pelado.
  • 1 cda. de miel de agave.
  • ½ cda. de aceite de coco o cualquier otro aceite vegetal.

Preparación:

  1. – Previamente envolver el  betabel con papel aluminio y rostizarlo en el horno por una hora a 180°C.
  2. -En un bowl grande preparar el equivalente vegano al  “huevo” , que es mezclar 2 cda. de linaza con 6 cda. de agua. Mezclar bien y separar por 10 minutos hasta alcanzar una consistencia espesa.
  3. En un procesador, colocar el betabel y la leche. Luego a esta mezcla agregar la linaza y continuar mezclando.
  4. Hacer un hoyo con las manos en medio de esta mezcla y añadir los ingredientes húmedos. Mezclar bien todo hasta alcanzar un aspecto homogéneo.
  5. En una sartén, colocar unas 3 cda. de la mezcla para cada hotcakes y cocinar por un minuto aproximadamente por cada lado.
  6. Servir acompañado con un sirope o con lo que desees.

Esta receta, a parte de los beneficios que te comenté, es una excelente oportunidad para jugar visualmente con la presentación del platillo. Puedes acompañar con frutas, miel de maple o de agave, mermelada casera, mantequilla de alemendras o maní, nutella vegana o sirope de fresas…en fin con lo que quieras y el presentarla se convierte en un juego de colores y texturas ¡Anímate  a armar un platillo atractivo para que tus niños se deslumbren y coman sin problemas!
